As sad as I am at the passing of Norman Glucroft, I still have to smile everytime I think of him. Of course we've all come to love him through his commercials for Roaring River Mills but my personal memories of him are through the Taka Trading Center that he ran at Park Hills Plaza. Whenever I'd stop in to purchase my martial arts equipment or oriental snack foods he was always there to greet me with a smile and friendly conversation like I was a long time friend. I'll never forget his smiling face and his wonderful personality. Thank you for being you , Norman!

Susan and Ross~ How Saddened I was to hear about your Father. What a precious man! I believe it's been about 5 years ago that Richard and I took Mom and Dad to see your Dad and Mother in Ft. Lauderdale (may have been even a little longer than that) and we had such a wonderful afternoon together. We surprised them so it made it all the more special. Even though you Mother was having difficulties at the time (like my Father and now my Mother) we had such a great time talking about all the great years at 100 and 106 Wordsworth. The two and you and myself have truly been blessed with a great upbringing and a childhood filled with precious memories. It was about a year ago, I think, that I thought I'd call you Dad to see how your Mom was doing and couldn't find their phone or address in Ft. Lauderdale anymore. The address was Ebensburg, another flood of memories. I knew then your Father took your Mother there to be closer to both of you. My memories are warm, my love for both of your parents, deep. They will forever be such a special part of me. The passing of your Father (as well as my Father in April) marks a huge turn in our lives, leaving a void that cannot be replaced. My love goes to both of you. Please, if you get a chance, drop me a line at Nancy08111@verizon.net and, by all means, should you get to Sarasota, please let me know as I'd love to see you both. Hugs....Nancy (Etienne) Underwood
