Kevin M. Smith serves as the supervisor and owner. He has been a funeral director since 1980 and became owner of the funeral home in 1997. Kevin is a member of the Altoona Kiwanis Club, Hiram Lodge F & AM, Altoona Consistory, Jaffa Shrine, Blair County Chamber of Commerce, and Tuesday Club. He is also a member of the Keystone Funeral Directors Association, Pennsylvania Funeral Directors Association, and serves on the Board for the Altoona Fairview Cemetery Association. Kevin has also worked with The York Foundation in securing grants for “The Second Mile”, “The Miracle League” and the Altoona Area Public Library.

Cheryl A. Smith, Kevin’s wife, is the Family Services Consultant and assists in the operation of the funeral home. She has over 15 years of experience in the financial services and insurance industry and is able to assist with all aspects of paperwork. Cheryl serves as a Board member for the Presbyterian Homes Foundation, and is a past Board member of the Allegheny Mountain Convention & Visitors Bureau, the Railroaders Memorial Museum, and the Association of Retarded Citizens, and was active in the Altoona Sunrise Rotary Club.

Kevin and Cheryl are residents of Altoona and are active members of the First Church of Christ. Kevin serves as a Deacon and Trustee and they both participate in various activities at their church. They have a son, Dr. Eliot Fagley and his wife, Dr. Amy Lee, who reside in St. Louis and both are employed by Barnes-Jewish Hospital.
